SUMMARY:Wilderness Road State Park Heritage Festival
DESCRIPTION:WBY duo is excited to share Appalachian roots music at this Fall festival for the first time! Come hear banjo\, mandolin\, guitar and harmony vocals ring out Old-Time\, ‘grassy and mountain Gospel tunes. The fest\, which runs from 10am-5pm\, celebrates Southwest Virginia’s unique cultural heritage and features handmade Appalachian crafts available for purchase on the Karlan Mansion lawn. Demonstrators showcase their time-honored skills; various musicians play through the day; and children can enjoy fun and educational activities\, all with an Appalachian theme. Concessions will be available. More info to be announced.
