SUMMARY:"15th Annual Pickin' In The Park" at Norris Dam State Park
DESCRIPTION:Come enjoy an October evening at one of Tennessee’s beautiful state parks at this rootsy\, family-friendly event. Kristiana McCombs Arnwine\, winner of Sevier County’s Mountain Soul Vocal Competition\, will be featured as star cellist/vocalist with WBY! Old-Time and Gospel tunes wrapped in Kristiana’s angelic voice and rich cello will send your spirit soaring. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy the beauty of East Tennessee in the Fall and remember the abundant blessings we receive from God our Father! Numerous other musicians\, as well as local food and craft/ artisan booths\, will add to the festivities. Hours are 5:30-9:30 pm\, and location is Shelter 2\, on the east side of Norris Dam State Park. Bring your own chairs (flashlights helpful too). Parking is available at 1810 Norris Fwy\, Norris\, TN 37828. Hayrides will be available to take participants to shelter 2 from the parking lot. Accessible parking is available at the Tea Room. There is no entry fee\, but donations are strongly encouraged.
