Boston Tea Party Celebration at Sevier County Library

Celtic and traditional music by Wild Blue Yonder as you travel back in time and experience the Boston Tea Party in Sevier County! The King Family Library is kicking off a year-long celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, including a travelling exhibit from the American Battlefield Trust, and hosting a recreation of the momentous tea party. Bring the family and enjoy colonial-themed festivities. The fun will include a “ship” in the parking lot where kids can toss tea into the harbor, and a tea tasting event with portions of the five teas that were thrown into the harbor.
