British Festival at Historic Rugby, TN
Celebrate English and Appalachian culture at Historic Rugby’s British Festival, May 4th and 5th in Historic Rugby, Tennessee. A FREE two day event with live music, artisans, cricket games (Saturday only), vintage baseball matches (Saturday only), a maypole, kid’s area, shopping, food trucks and more! Wild Blue Yonder, featuring classical cellist/fiddler Kristiana McCombs Arnwine, will share authentic music of Appalachian and the British Isles on SAT., May 4, from 12:30-2:00pm.
Certain ticketed events during the festival include:
– On Saturday only at 1:00p Eastern, celebrate The Queen’s Tea in the newly renovated Hester Hall. This festive tea will include sandwiches, scones, and desserts along with the Rugby Blend Tea.
– Additionally there will be a hat workshop on Sunday, May 5th.
