Camporee on the Hill

Enjoy Old-Time, Gospel and ‘grassy tunes with WBY at this unique outdoor setting! FREE to attend. We’ll play from 7:00-8:00 pm on Saturday, but the event runs Apr. 26-28. An immersive camping experience hosted by Knox County Park & Recreation. Features interactive nature programming for all ages, a sunset movie showing, water sport rentals, and the most beautiful scenic views in Knox County. Offering a select number of primitive tent and group sites with views of Melton Hill’s beautiful lakefront. Tent sites are designed to accommodate up to 6 people, while group sites accommodate up to 12 individuals.
Reservations for the camporee include camp site reservation and all programmed activities for the weekend, sent the week prior to the event.
Check-in: Friday, April 26 after 4 p.m. Check-out: Sunday, April 28 before 11 a.m.
Pets are welcome and must be on leash and under control at all times.
For the safety of your pet and park wildlife, pets may not be left unattended.
An onsite bathhouse offers showers and restroom facilities.
Camp sites will not include electric or water hook-up.
*Camporee is open to Knox County Residents only.
Camporee is FREE of charge but requires registration.
